12/20/2025 Extensive Sound Journey
The art of Being is a mastery that requires a reverence for space. Space exists between the external events or internal thoughts and our reactions to these events or thoughts in our lives. The more we can understand how to use space as a tool to override our initial conditioned reactions and behavioral patterns, the more we can respond to life with the capacity to choose consciously and from a place of presence and equanimity.
In Sound Meditations, we learn to listen to the silence between the sounds, the spaces between the notes, to learn about the power of silence...power of space. Listening is not a passive experience. The ancient practice of Nada Yoga teaches us how to deeply listen to outside sounds to activate and listen to the sounds within ourselves. By learning how to listen, one learns how to silence the mind. Silence becomes Space. Space becomes the power to choose and create our realities.
The immersive and introspective assisted sonic journey, usually lasts around 6 hours, is comprised of five parts:
Brief Informational Talk
We'll delve into the mystical, scientific, and healing facets of sound. We'll explore how sound serves as a guiding compass, helping us navigate the intricate pathways of our inner dimensions. Drawing from the wisdom imparted by diverse teachers and ongoing research, we'll uncover profound insights to illuminate our journey within.
Vocal Toning
Using your own Voice, you will discover your unique frequencies, while tuning into the surrounding environment. This wordless form of vocalization will serve as a platform for self-expression and release, as well as an opportunity to bask and tune into a different kind of vibration.
Breathwork
Inspired by Stanislav Grof's Holotropic breathing technique, you will be guided through a powerful three-part breath that will enable you to disconnect from the “monkey mind” just enough to reach heightened states of awareness and a deeper state of meditation.
Sound
A journey into the inner landscape of self using overtone-emitting instruments, gongs, singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks etc. These rich overtones affect the brainwave cycles, neurochemistry, autonomic nervous system, heart-rate variability, and subtle energy in the body. The sound meditation sets the stage for a deep, meditative and unique altered state of consciousness allowing us to disconnect from physical, mental, emotional and psychological habitual patterns.
Connection
We will have time to share musings, thoughts, feelings and poetics about our individual experiences while sharing snacks and beverages after ceremony.

What to Bring :
Layers for temperature changes: sweater, hoodie, scarf, jacket, socks, shorts, skirt, pants etc. (you’ll be both hot and cold throughout the journey)
Comfortable pillow and blanket. We have the mats for you.

Any personal items you may want or need to make yourself as comfortable as possible for this extensive journey!

We will wrap up the ceremony at around 9pm. Please arrange your transportation accordingly. Please do not drive after the ceremony. If you need transportation support, please reach out to us!
